BETHEL — A 19-year-old man was charged Thursday after a months-long investigation revealed he was making and selling drugs out of his home, police said.

Officers used a search warrant to search Tyler Blarney’s home on Plumtrees Road after investigating him for several months, police said in a release. During the search, police discovered that Barney had been selling marijuana, THC vaporizer cartridges, THC wax and cocaine out of his home.

Barney had also been making the THC wax, police said, and had a large amount of cash connected to selling the drugs, police said.

He was charged with operating a drug factory, sale of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Barney is being held on $50,000 bail.
