Veere Di Wedding song shoot: Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor amps up the oomph quotient

Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor backed Veere Di Wedding is back in the news. The film starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania is making headlines for a recently shot special number choreographed by Farah Khan. The photos from the sets of the film that have landed on social media are high on glamour and oomph. Going by the look of it, it seems the dance number will top the music charts in the coming times. The other one who is catching eyes in the photos is singer-rapper Badshah who has earlier given the party anthem to the youth in Khoobsurat song "Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai".

Sonam Kapoor who is being choreographed by Farah Khan for the first time shared a selfie with the choreographer-filmmaker on her Instagram account and captioned it as, "Farah! I’m so lucky I get to work with you! Thanks so much for doing this song! We love you!" Veere Di Wedding, directed by Shashanka Ghosh, is touted to be Bollywood’s first major chick flick. Talking about the film, Sonam had earlier told PTI, "Veere Di Wedding looks so different. There should be more such films, this should be the norm."

On the sets of Veere Di Wedding, the two divas Sonam and Kareena struck a pose with rapper Badshah and choreographer Farah. The endearing click was shared by Farah on Instagram with the caption, "Killing it with @sonamkapoor @badboyshah n #kareenakapoor!." Farah also added the hashtag "#fiercenessoverload" to the power-packed photograph.

Sonam Kapoor was spotted at the shoot location of Veere Di Wedding in Mumbai on Thursday. Spilling the beans about the recently shot song, Swara Bhasker wrote, "Attitude is ON! With the coolest of all #veeres @farahkhankunder choreographing our promotional song.. #veerediwedding #comingsoon."

In the first poster of the film, the girl gang including Sonam, Kareena, Swara and Shikha were seen donning ‘sherwanis’ and ‘pagdis’. The 'Mahurat' of this fun-filled wedding is June 1.
