UPDATE: Power Mostly Restored After Tree Fell on Power Lines in Puerto Rico
Friday, 13 April 2018 () Power was slowly being restored back to previous levels on Thursday night after a tree fell on a major power line in Puerto Rico, knocking out service to more than 870,000 people as the island continues to recover seven months after Hurricane Maria decimated most of the island's infrastructure and its electrical grid, according to CNN. The Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) tweeted out an image that showed the tree which fell across a power line near the southeast mountain town of Cayey.
