
Telangana TS Intermediate results 2018: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has announced the results of 1st, 2nd year examinations. The candidates can check the results through the official websites, tsbie.cgg.gov.in and results.cgg.gov.in.
Nearly 9.63 lakh candidates appeared for both first and second year examinations this year of which nearly 4.36 lakh candidates are from the 1st year. Last year, as many as 4.14 lakh candidates have sat for the Inter exams. The first year exams were held from February 28 to March 17 while the second year exams were held from March 1 to March 19 at around 1,294 centres. Around, 25,395 invigilators were deputed with the Telangana Board constituted 1,294 chief superintendents and 1,294 departmental officers.

Deputy CM and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari has released the results today at Hyderabad. The percentage of students in Intermediate examination this year has increased since last year. In the case of the results, Madchal has secured the top position among all districts followed by the Komuram Bhim district. Mahabubabad finished last with 40 pass percent, as per reports.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has published the result of Intermediates exams held in March this year. A total of 455789 students from the first year appeared for the inter exams of which 62.35 per cent have passed. Girls have outnumbered boys by scoring pass percentage of 69 while boys are at 55.66 per cent. Similarly, for the second year intermediate students, the pass percentage is at 67.25 per cent. A total of 4,29,398 students gave the exam. The girls have outshone boys here as well with pass percentage of 73.2 per cent and boys are at 61 per cent.

As per the college wise success rate, Vijaynagar is the most successful with 80 per cent, Vellore Shrikulam- 70 per cent, Chittor- 60 per cent.
The least successful regions are Cuddaph- 52 per cent, Srikulam- 67 per cent. The overall pass percentage stands at 73.3 per cent

In 2015, the overall pass percentage for TS Intermediate Board result was 61.41percent with the pass percentage of girls was 66.86 percent while boys registered 55.91 percent in the regular stream.
As the board result is out, the candidates will appear for different engineering entrance exams. The Andhra Pradesh BITSAT examination is scheduled to be held between May 16 to May 31, 2018. The admit card was declared today, candidates can download it from the official website, bitsadmission.com
Intermediate courses- It is a two year courses conducted by junior colleges in states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which are equivalent to the Higher Secondary, or Plus Two (10+2), or Pre-University courses of other state boards.
A total of 8,900,87 students appeared for the exam last year, of which 4,14,213 took the second year examinations.

Last year Last year, out of 4,75,874 first year students, only 2,70,738 students passed the exam which lead to 57 per cent pass percentage. The board announced the results on April 16, 2017.

The Telangana Board had preponed their 1st and 2nd year exams keeping Andhra Pradesh Intermediate schedule in mind. TSBIE officials said that both states share common syllabus in optional subjects, so there could be a possibility for sending question paper of APBIE through WhatsApp that may create false rumours of leakage of question paper every day and panic/confusion in the students of Telangana.
The candidates can get to know the results by dialling 1100 from any BSNL land line in the state or calling 18004251110 from any land line / mobile phone and eSeva / MeeSeva / Rajiv Citizen Service Centres in the state.
The minimum pass percentage is 35 per cent. The examination took place in three parts, Part-I English, Part-II Second Language and Part-III Group subjects
As the results to be declared in few hours, the candidates who are not satisfied with results, can apply for re-evaluation. Like, last year, the board will announce re-evaluation process after the announcement of results
