The Law Commission of India, which is examining the subject matter of Uniform Civil Code, UCC has extended the deadline for 30 more days for stakeholders to submit their comments and suggestions on the issue. Now stakeholders can submit their comments on UCC till 6th of next month.

The Commission had earlier on 19th March through a public appeal had requested the individuals and organisations to send their submissions on issues pertaining to Uniform Civil Code except the issue relating to Triple Talaq as it is pending before Parliament.
