NEW DELHI: Infosys (Rs 190.73 crore), Tata Consultancy Services (Rs 188.31 crore) and Hindalco Industries (Rs 121.57 crore) were among the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE in the early trade on Friday.

Axis Bank (Rs 116.56 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs 114.52 crore), Titan Company (Rs 105.45 crore), State Bank of India (Rs 100.43 crore), Tata Steel (Rs 99.29 crore), Vedanta (Rs 87.65 crore), Reliance Industries (Rs 85.61 crore), HCL Tech (Rs 78.22 crore) and Kotak Mahindra Bank (Rs 73.48 crore) were also among the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE.

Domestic equity markets opened in the positive territory tracking global cues.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 38 points up at 10,497, while the BSE Sensex was up 143 points at 34,244 around 10 am (IST).

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 pack, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.

Adani Ports & SEZ, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindalco Industries, Bharti Infratel and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.

On the other hand, HCL Technologies, Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Finserv, Tech Mahindra and Tata Motors were among the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
