KANPUR: Amid furore over
Unnao rape case, a badly
burnt body of an unidentified woman was recovered from a village in
Unnao on Thursday. The police have not ruled out sexual assault.
On being informed by the villagers, the police reached the spot near Bhalla farms under Asoha police station jurisdiction along with forensic experts. After conducting preliminary investigations, the body was shifted to mortuary for postmortem examination.
