Prakash Raj slams Amit Shah over animal analogy

VIJAYAPURA: Multilingual actor Prakash Raj said here on Thursday that his newly established #JUST ASKING foundation will fight against the political parties which formulate communalism as their political agenda in seeking votes.

Expressing his displeasure over recent remarks by Amit Shah who equated opposition leaders with snakes and animals, he said: “I can’t leave my country in the hands of leaders who speak vulgar language against any religion, activist, writer and opposition leaders. Amit Shah has lost his sense and it shows his mindset. He should understand that the dictatorship doesn’t work here. He should be aware while making statements against anyone and one must respect the opposition parties,” he said.

“Shah who calls opposition leaders animals and snakes, then why is he campaigning in the state for the last one month. Doesn’t it clearly show that he is afraid of the opposition,” he asked.

Commenting on the results of upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Rai said, “Starting from the southern states, BJP will soon be at the receiving end in the northern states too. It is cent percent clear that BJP is going to lose power in 2019,” he said.

Documentary on Cauvery

Prakash Rai said he has asked a few film makers to produce a twenty-minute documentary on Cauvery water dispute. The documentary will speak about the actual problems faced by both the states and will be analyzed whether the problem can be solved or do we have an alternate solutions to the dispute, Rai said.
