Narendra Modi on Friday took a metro ride to 26,
Alipur Road, where he dedicated
Dr Ambedkar National Memorial to the nation. The birthday of Dr B R Ambedkar will be observed on Saturday, April 14.
The Prime Minister took the metro at Lok Kalyan Marg metro station to 26, Alipur Road and on way he chatted with the commuters and clicked selfies with them.
The memorial designed to look like the Constitution has been built at a cost of Rs 100 crore and is spread over nearly 2 acres.

BR Ambedkar passed away on December 6, 1956.
Modi had laid the foundation stone of the memorial on March 21, 2016.
The memorial has been given the shape of a book.
"The museum at the memorial intends to create an immersive experience into the life of Ambedkar and his contribution to India through extensive use of static media, dynamic media, audio-visual content and multimedia technologies," a release had said earlier.
A meditation hall has also been created. A
Bodhi Tree, a musical fountain and a facade lighting are the other attractions of the memorial.
