Somerset Berkley's Catie Ledwidge outlasted her opponent at second singles in a third-set tiebreaker, allowing the Raiders to knock off Seekonk 3-2 in girls tennis action Thursday.
Ledwidge posted a 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) victory as Somerset Berkley improved to 5-1.
At first singles, Jordan Ramos was a 6-4, 6-2 winner for the Raiders, while Gianna Sousa and Kaylin Gibbons teamed up for a 6-4, 7-5 second-doubles victory.
The win came on the heels of Wednesday's 3-2 win over Bourne in which the Raiders won all three singles matches.
Wareham 4, Case 1: Hailey Armburg accounted for the Cardinals' lone win, defeating Lucy Sullivan 6-1, 6-2 at first singles.
Case fell to 0-2.
Boys' Tennis
Bishop Stang 4, Ashland 1: Collin DiNardo and Pat Clark won their singles matches as Bishop Stang improved to 3-1.
At first singles, DiNardo was a 6-3, 6-0 winner, while Clark won at No. 2, 6-2, 6-2.
Mark Domagala and Nick Pereira were 6-4, 6-2 winners at first doubles, while Benjamin Resendes and Andres Gutierez won 6-4, 4-6 (11-9) at second doubles.
Case 5, Wareham 0: Eli Geldard, Mike Azevedo and Tyler Abdallah all won their singles matches in straight sets as the Cardinals improved to 2-0.
Will Kenyon and Mac Deschenes were 6-0, 6-1 winners at first doubles, while Dhiran Ollerhead and Brad Martel were 6-3, 6-0 winners at No. 2.
Somerset Berkley 3, Seekonk 2: Danny Botelho (6-1, 6-0 at second singles) and Devon Barros (6-3, 6-1 at No. 3) won their singles matches as the Raiders improved to 3-2.
The Raiders' second-doubles team of Austin Macek and Nick Mahjoory posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory.
Westport 3, Bishop Connolly 2: At third singles, Alex Raposa outlasted Chris Mulvey 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (7-2) as Westport evened its record at 1-1.
At first singles, Westport's Evan Kidd defeated Sam DaCosta in the lone two-setter, 6-2, 6-4.
Jonathan Letendre and Mikyle Couto accounted for the final Westport point, winning at second doubles, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (10-7).
Nicholas Howayeck earned a Cougar point at second singles, as did the duo of Nate Chhim and Luc Domagala at first doubles.
