CBI registers three separate cases relating to incidents including alleged rape, violence in Unnao |
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered three separate cases relating to incidents including alleged rape, violence in Unnao District of Uttar Pradesh on the request from Uttar Pradesh Government and further Notification from Government of India.
The first case has been registered after taking over the investigation of case earlier registered at Makhi Police Station in Unnao under various sections of IPC and POCSO Act on a complaint against a private person and an MLA.
The second case has been registered after taking over the investigation of case under various sections IPC and Arms Act on a complaint against a private person. The third case has been registered after taking over the investigation of case under various sections of IPC on a complaint against four accused.
The CBI is conducting thorough investigation including examining and interrogating the accused persons, the victims, relevant witnesses and others.
