AHMEDABAD: Due to the
upper air cyclonic circulation over the state, maximum temperatures in most parts of the state were below 40°C on Thursday.
The maximum
temperature in Ahmedabad city was just a tenth of a degree below 40°C, 0.6 degrees above normal and the minimum temperature was 25.6°C, two degrees above normal. Relative humidity ranged between 55% and 20% on Tuesday.
According to the
India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather could get humid in the next few days and there will be no drastic change in maximum temperatures in state. After that, maximum temperatures will rise by two to three degrees.
