Anupam Kher looks uncannily similar to Dr Manmohan Singh, but Twitter finds him ‘too fast’!
Anupam Kher is making all the headlines these days for his recent guise as former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. The veteran actor’s original self is barely recognisable in his latest avatar. He resembles so much to the former Prime Minister that it’s difficult to tell the difference between the two. On Wednesday night, Anupam Kher posted a video of himself walking out of Broughton Hall Estate dressed as Dr Manmohan Singh. Although his look is uncannily similar, but it’s his walk that raised many eyebrows among Twitterati.
The fast-paced walk of Anupam Kher as Dr Manmohan Singh is not sitting well with the netizens. A fan wrote, "Cool.. but this seems a lil too fast for the ex PM".
Another user tweeted, "Does our ex pm walk so fast, I guess nt".

The clip was shared by Anupam Kher on his official Twitter handle. Kher wrote,"This clip was sent to me by various people. So someone captured it & posted it while I was rehearsing. In the clip, Kher was seen donning Singh's trademark blue turban, white kurta-pyjama, along with a black Nehru jacket. The uncanny resemblance between the two veterans was ensured for a movie on the political honcho, titled 'The Accidental Prime Minister'.
Earlier, when the first look of Anupam Kher as Dr Manmohan Singh was released, social media asked twice if its really Anupam Kher or Dr Manmohan Singh himself. It's really difficult to differentiate one from the another. Have a look.
The film is an upcoming biographical political film, based on the life of Dr Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance.
The film is directed by Vijay Gutte and written by Hansal Mehta. It is based on 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjay Baru. It also stars Akshaye Khanna in a pivotal role. The film is scheduled for December 21, 2018, release.
