Sunrisers Hyderabad have to make 148 to win the match. Once again their bowlers and fielders have ensured that the opposition don’t put a total too big for their liking. Mayank Markande managed to get Mumbai past the 140-run mark but it was an underwhelming performance from what is on paper a strong batting line up. Only Evin Lewis, Suryakumar Yadav and Kieron Pollard managed to get past the 20-run mark. Defeat in their first game and potentially in the second would not dent the confidence of Mumbai Indians through as they are notoriously slow starters to a season. Sunrisers Hyderabad, after beating Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets will be looking to seal another easy win.
