KOLKATA: Two adult tuskers entered Durgapur town from
Borjora forest on Wednesday and went on a rampage. One of the animals was eventually tranquillized while the other was driven out.
The elephants also broke a level crossing near Durgapur railway station before proceeding to Durgapur north station bazaar area.

DFO Milan Kanti Pal told TOI, "Around 5.30am two tuskers entered Durgapur from Borjora jungle in Bankura. We managed to tranquillize one around 12.30pm and transported it to
Jhilimili forest in Bankura. The other was driven to Shivpur forest."
