KOLAR: All rooms in Karnataka Bhavan and Karol Bagh in Delhi were literally filled with Congress leaders and ticket aspirants as the party's list of 224 candidates is likely to be announced in a day or two.

Sources said some leaders are trying to pressure Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC president Parameshwara seeking tickets for their aides. On the condition of anonymity, a senior Congress leader said almost all District Congress presidents and ticket aspirants are camping in Delhi and visiting MPs, ministers and senior party leaders to get tickets.

A senior leader who is a ticket aspirant from Kolar assembly constituency said hotel rooms are not available in Karol Bagh and Karnataka Bhavan has become a 'mini' Bengaluru as one can found thousands of Kannadigas here.
