Commonwealth Games 2018: At the end of Day 8, India stays at 3rd spot with 14 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze medals


Commonwealth Games 2018 has now entered its eighth day and the competition is coming to a close. On Thursday, four wrestlers will take the mat on Thursday and all four are expected to medal – what remains to be seen is what will the colour of the medal be. Babita Kumari and Sushil Kumar are the highlight weightlifters in action.  Anjum Moudgil will be in action in 50m Rifle Prone shooting event. Action in badminton, squash and table tennis will continue before concluding with India taking on Australia in women’s hockey.

The Indian duo of Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal advanced to the semifinals of the squash mixed double’s event even as compatriots Joshna Chinappa and Harinder Pal Sandhu crashed out
