Antetokounmpo, Dellavedova returning for Bucks' finale
The Milwaukee Bucks are getting Giannis Antetokounmpo and Matthew Dellavedova back for their regular-season finale Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The star forward Antetokounmpo and Dellavedova have both been nursing right ankle injuries.
Antetokounmpo, who missed the last two games, is averaging 27.1 points and 10 rebounds per game this season. The do-everything forward also averages 4.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.4 blocks.
Dellavedova, a point guard, hasn't played since early February and was averaging 4.4 points and 3.8 assists in 19 minutes per game. He follows fellow point guard Malcolm Brogdon, who returned for Monday's win over the Orlando Magic after missing 30 games with a quad strain.
The 76ers currently hold a one-game lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers for the third spot in the East. A 76ers loss and a Cleveland win (vs. the Knicks) would flip them in the final playoff order.
The Bucks (44-37) have already clinched a playoff spot, and sit sixth in the East with a one-game lead over the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards, but their playoff scenario is still pretty complicated.
If the Bucks and Wizards lose and the Heat win, Milwaukee would open against the second-seeded Boston Celtics. If the Bucks and Heat lose and the Wizards win, Washington jumps to sixth, Milwaukee would finish seventh and Miami would finish eighth and face the top-seeded Raptors.
If Milwaukee loses and both Washington and Miami win, the Heat would earn the sixth seed due to a tiebreaker, the Wizards would take the seventh spot and the Bucks would earn the East's final playoff spot.
