Carolyn O'Brien and Rita Brown got it. I'm not going to spoil the answer for everyone else though.

Alleged stalker

A teenage girl was followed off a tram and allegedly stalked in Melbourne's east last week.

The 15-year-old had boarded the 109 tram in Kew about 1.40pm last Thursday when she noticed a man watching her.

Feeling uncomfortable the girl got off the tram at Surrey Hills and saw the man had also gotten off and was following her down Whitehorse Road.

For safety she ran to a group of tradesmen working in a front yard and called her mother to pick her up but the man sat on a nearby fence and continued to watch her.

Her mother arrived and the girl took photos of the man as he eventually walked away towards Whitehorse Road.

Leading Senior Constable Adam West told radio station 3AW the girl had been made to feel very uncomfortable and police were keen to speak to the man in the pictures.

The man is described as being in his fifties with grey collar-length hair and grey facial hair.

He was wearing a navy baseball cap, navy 'Renault Trucks' t-shirt, dark shorts and no shoes.

Anyone who recognises this man or has any information can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

I was almost blown over when I stepped outside this morning. The BoM says winds will be blowing northerly, between 25km/h and 35km/h, with stronger gusts.

It'll be 28 degrees today, with a possible morning shower. If you see any wind damage out there this morning let us know. By the way, it's 26 degrees at 6am! In Scoresby it was 30 degrees at 5am.

Carjacking in Melbourne's north-west

A man allegedly tried to carjack a woman in Taylors Lakes last month and police want to know more.

The woman, aged in her forties, was sitting in her car at traffic lights at the intersection of Parmelia Drive and Melton Highway (turning left) about 5:40pm on March 13, when a man allegedly began hitting her car.

He had been sitting in the next car over in the passenger seat. That car was a champagne coloured Mitsubishi Magna. He got out and "repeatedly smashed on the victim's car using his fist," police allege.  The man allegedly made demands for the woman to get out of her car, but she got away.

Police said: "He is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance and about 175cm tall with a thin build, hazel eyes and shaved brown hair.

"The man was wearing a multi-coloured tank top and khaki cargo pants." Contact CrimeStoppers if you know more, or if you recognise the man below.
