In accordance with the combination of the A and R share series resolved upon by the annual general meeting of Aktia Bank plc on 10 April 2018, a total of 2 383 851 new shares, issued to holders of R-shares in a directed share issue without payment, have been registered with the Trade Register on 12 April 2018. Simultaneously, the combination of the share series as well as the amendment to the Articles of Association related thereto have been registered with the Trade Register. The new Articles of Association are attached to this stock exchange release.
The new shares carry full shareholder rights as of the moment they were registered, but do not entitle to the dividend distribution resolved upon at the annual general meeting 10 April 2018. After the registration of the new shares and the combination of share series, the total amount of Aktia Bank plc shares is 68 962 662 shares, of which 204 267 are held by the company. The total amount of votes that the shares in Aktia Bank plc carry after the registration is 68 962 662 votes. The share issue and the combination of share series have no effect on the share capital on the company.
Trading in the new shares is expected to commence together with the current shares under ISIN code FI4000058870 and the new trading code AKTIA on or about 13.4.2018.
