LeBron James: Reason why Cleveland Cavaliers ace was pulled early against Knicks REVEALED
LeBRON JAMES will compete in his 82nd game of the season tonight when Cleveland Cavaliers face New York Knicks in the season finale.
It will be the first time that James has ever appeared in all 82 regular-season games.
But NBA fans didn't see ‘The King’ for too long in Cleveland.
James has scored at least ten points in every game he has played since the Cavaliers’ victory over Milwaukee Bucks in January 2007.
Cleveland coach Ty Lue has admitted he tried to talk James out of playing tonight, but let him continue his streak.

Though he was pulled off soon after reaching ten points.
“Once he gets to ten points, don’t be surprised if I yank him out,” Lue said ahead of the game.
“He might get mad but I don’t care.”
Lue was true to his word, taking James off in the first quarter though the small forward did extend his all-time best NBA streak to 873 games straight in double digit points.
James has had another standout season for the Cavs and last week the 33-year-old became the youngest ever player to notch up 31,000 NBA points.
In tonight’s game, the Cleveland side are playing for third place in the Eastern Conference though they need other results to go their way.
As well as beating the Knicks, the Cavs need Milwaukee Bucks to beat Philadelphia 76ers.

Should the Cavs not climb to third and remain in fourth, they would host Indiana Pacers in a first-round play-off clash for a second consecutive season.
Though with James playing, no matter how long for, third spot is definitely within reach.
