LeBron James: Cavs star 'SNUBBED' by one Cleveland team-mate in leaked MVP votes
THE Cleveland Cavaliers conducted an anonymous poll on the end-of-season awards yesterday and it has been revealed LeBron James didn’t receive all the votes to win MVP.
James, a four-time MVP, has enjoyed arguably his best ever season in the league this year yet he isn’t the favourite to win the accolade for 2018.
James Harden has helped the Houston Rockets to the best record in the NBA and finally topple the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.
And many have tipped the Rockets superstar to be awarded his first MVP trophy on June 25.
James has broken numerous personal records this year, which saw him play all 82 games in a regular season for the first time, and he recently admitted he would vote for himself to win the MVP.
But it seems not even the 33-year-old’s team-mates are unanimous in believing James should be named most valuable player.

That’s according to an anonymous poll with the Cavaliers conducted by ESPN.
The survey asked 13 players, likely excluding recent signings Kendrick Perkins and Okaro White, for their votes on the end-of-year awards.
And 12 players chose James as their MVP, with one other person opting for Harden.

None of the players were named and it could well have been the three-time NBA champion who didn’t vote for himself.
But with it being anonymous and his recent declaration that he would choose himself to win the award it raises the question as to who else it could be.
Ben Simmons, the over-whelming favourite to win Rookie of the Year, was also surprisingly behind Donovan Mitchell in the votes with the Utah Jazz guard receiving seven votes to the 76ers star’s four - two players voted both of them.
