Smoke reports force emergency landing of Delta Airlines

The flight had departed Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport around 5.55 p.m. and was carrying 189 passengers as per Shawn Dobberstein who is the executive director of Fargo’s Municipal Airport Authority.

 

And the Delta plane was flying over the Bismarck area when it was compelled to turn around and fly to Fargo according to Dobberstein.

 

The airplane was able to land safely at Hector around 7.30 p.m. with firefighters greeting the airplane when it touched down.

 

A flight that had come from Minneapolis was scheduled to arrive in Fargo around 11 p.m. to pick up the stranded passengers and take them to their destination. Delta ordered pizza for the passengers during the wait.
