Bahrain – Kimi Raikkonen injured a Ferrari crew member during a pitstop at the Bahrain GP. Was the 'Iceman' to blame?
A video shows the moment one of the Ferrari pit-crew mechanics has his leg broken by Raikkonen.
Many fans took to social media to vent their frustrations at Raikkonen for his role in the bizarre incident.
A few seconds into the clip, you can clearly see the pit member’s leg positioned in front of the left rear tyre before impact. Kimi ultimately was forced to retire from the race due to an unsafe release though his reaction sparked controversy.
'My job is to go when the light turns green'
Raikkonen said: "My job is to go when the light turns green. The unfortunate thing is that one of the guys got hurt".
