Kathmandu, April 11
The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration is planning to publish a notice asking all civil servants to choose the places they want to work in.
MoFAGA Secretary Dinesh Thapaliya said the ministry would publish a notice in the next couple of days regarding the issue.
“All civil servants and government employees have to file an application, stating where they want to work, as per the government rules,” said Thapaliya. He said that the ministry could transfer civil servants, who fail to file an application, to any place across the country.
According to Secretary Thapaliya, the ministry had to give opportunity to civil servants to serve in the places they preferred, as per the law.
