Perth woman arrested over allegedly 'breaking driver's nose' in road rage assault
A woman has been arrested over an alleged road rage assault in which another woman had her nose broken.
The arrest comes after 58-year-old Ellenbrook woman Sonja was assaulted following a crash near a roundabout on the Broadway and Elmridge Parkway on Monday afternoon.
She was driving her white Hyundai TQ van when she collided with a green Holden Commodore.
Sonja told 9 News Perth both cars pulled over immediately after the crash, and the woman walked to the driver's side window.
"She said she was going to effin' kill me," she said.
"I told her to calm down, and the next thing I knew, she hit me in the face."
"I didn't see it coming and my nose just exploded with blood and everything - I was just really shocked."
The woman drove away from the scene following the incident, but witnesses stopped to help Sonja attend to her injuries.
On Thursday, police confirmed they have charged a 34-year-old woman from Ellenbrook with assault over the alleged incident.
She is due to appear in court at a later date.
