Batman SHOCK: Jake Gyllenhaal SPEAKS OUT on replacing Ben Affleck rumours – WATCH
JAKE GYLLENHAAL, who is rumoured to be replacing Batman star Ben Affleck has finally spoken out.
Following the critical and financial disappointments of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, Affleck’s future as the Dark Knight has been uncertain.
Beyond rumour and supposed sources, it’s unclear if he still wants to play the Caped Crusader.
After all, Matt Reeves is currently working on his Batman solo movie but it’s unclear who will play the Dark Knight.
Sources have claimed Gyllenhaal is the frontrunner and now the star has finally spoken out.

Asked by CNA Lifestyle if he was the new Batman, Gyllenhaal appeared quite taken aback.
Around 1 minute 30 seconds in, the 37-year-old star said: “Wow, that’s a very difficult question.
“The answer to that question is ‘no’.”
While his response may come as a bit of a disappointment to some fans, it does leave hope that Affleck will continue.
Back in February an insider told Revenge of the Fans: “The present Batman is still Affleck.
“A change in cowl will not happen publicly until Ben is officially gone, and he is currently The Batman.
“But like we have said, it’s a negotiation thing right now. Not money, but appearances and creative.
“Ben isn’t wanting to vacate, but not wanting to commit fully.”
