Fascinated with the letters written by the students narrating the environs of the school, Goa Governor Mridula Sinha paid a visit to the Swastik Vidyalay High School at Priol. A host of activities was scheduled by the school students, teachers and the committee in the school premises.

“I have seen many schools in Goa, but after reading letters from Swastik Vidyalay students It’s the first time that I have willingly chosen to visit this school,” stated Sinha during the visit.

While addressing the gathering, Sinha stressed on inculcating education which will make students better human beings and not just great degree holders. Along with syllabus, human values and training in household activities should be part school teaching, she said.
