Veerey Di Wedding is certainly one of the most anticipated films of the year. Firstly, for it’s going to be Kareena Kapoor Khan’s comeback film post Taimur’s birth. Secondly, Bollywood has been going through a dry spell of women centric films lately. The film stars Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles. Recently, the leading ladies of Veerey Di Wedding shot for a special song titled ‘Tareefan’ with ace choreographer Farah Khan and King of Rap, Badshah.
On Wednesday, Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram to share a selfie with Farah Khan. In the caption, she wrote, “Farah! I’m so lucky I get to work with you! Thanks so much for doing this song! We love you! @farahkhankunder @vdwthefilm @rheakapoor #kareenakapoorkhan @reallyswara @shikhatalsania.”
Later on Thursday, Farah Khan shared a picture with Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Badshah. She wrote, “Killing it with @sonamkapoor @badboyshah n #kareenakapoor! @vdwthefilm @rheakapoor #fiercenessoverload.”
According to the latest reports, the major portions of the film have been shot. Currently, they are occupied shooting for a special song. The song also features Baadshah and is based on the role reveals with women taking the roles which were assumed by males only.
Farah Khan also choreographed the dance number ‘Zingaat’ with Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter for Dhadak.
Veerey Di Wedding’s trailer will be out on April 9, 2018. The star cast of the film will be launching the trailer of the film with a press conference.
