Premier League Darts results LIVE: Latest scores as Michael van Gerwen takes on Whitlock

Week 10 of the Premier League heads to the FlyDSA Arena with leader Michael Van Gerwen in action against Simon Whitlock.

With the eliminations of Mensur Suljovic and Gerwyn Price at Judgement Night the remaining players roll into Sheffield this evening..

Michael Smith , second in the table, will be hoping Whitlock can cause an upset against Van Gerwen, before he takes on PDC world champion Rob Cross.

Smith has caused plenty of upsets himself this season and former darts pro Wayne Mardle is backing Smith to continue his impressive form.

“They're both picking up points. Rob had a big win last week against Anderson,” he said.

“Last week was also massive for Smith, beating Barney. Everything about that spoke volumes about Smith.

“We're now seeing the best of Smith. He's played himself into form.

“Cross wasn't well at the weekend - he had a bug. Maybe he still isn't 100 per cent but, I can assure you, Smith is playing the darts of his life.”

Down at the bottom of the table, Peter Wright, who has just one win to his name this season, takes on Gary Anderson.
