ESPN is launching a new streaming service that will test the sports juggernaut’s ability to attract viewers who don’t want to pay for cable without losing the business of those who do.
The $4.99-a-month service, called ESPN+, offers an array of live sports, including some college games, pro golf and Grand Slam tennis, along with more niche offerings like boxing, cricket and rugby.
