Shady Harbor Marina to manage marina at Mohawk Harbor
Schenectady
Donovan's Shady Harbor Marina, which operates a marina on the Hudson River in New Baltimore south of Albany, will manage the new marina at the $500 million Mohawk Harbor development in Schenectady, the Galesi Group announced.
The Mohawk Harbor marina includes 55 dock slips, with water and electric service.
"The docks at Mohawk Harbor were designed with boaters in mind," said Brian Donovan, managing partner of Shady Harbor Holding. "We look forward to bringing our passion for customer service and a five-star marina experience to Mohawk Harbor."
The harbor is near the Rivers Casino and two hotels. The site also offers CDTA bus and bike share services.
Daily and seasonal slip rentals are available. The state canal system opens May 18.
"Mohawk Harbor is now a destination for boaters traveling through upstate New York," said David Buicko, CEO of the Galesi Group, which built the mixed residential, office and retail complex. "We invite boaters to stop in Schenectady to eat, stay, and play."
