Shepherd school board members have set six interviews for a week from Saturday to narrow their search for a new superintendent.

School officials are seeking a replacement for Claire Bunker, the district’s superintendent since 2011 who announced in February that she was stepping down at the end of the school year.

Shepherd has narrowed their search to administrators at six Michigan school districts.

None of the candidates are Shepherd school employees.
