Uttar Pradesh: 23 illegal Bangladeshi migrants held in Mathura

AGRA: Mathura police on Thursday arrested 23 Bangladeshi citizens who were illegally residing in the district without any valid passport and other relevant documents.

The Bangladeshi migrants include 13 woman. The arrests were made during raids at several places in the city.


Station house officer, Highway police station, Udayvir Malik said that they had been staying in Azamabad area for the past few years and were working as scrap collectors.


A case was registered against them for living in the country without valid documents, he said.
