PATNA:
RJD on Thursday announced the name of its four candidates for the upcoming biennial elections for
Bihar legislative council slated to be held on April 26.
The four candidates include RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s wife and former Bihar CM
Rabri Devi, state president Ram Chandra Purbey, former Nalada district president Khurshid Mohsin and Santosh Kumar Manjhi, son of HAM-S chief and former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi.
Sources claimed that Santosh would file his nomination on the symbol of RJD, and not HAM-S as per the agreement between the two firms. The last date for filing nomination papers is April 16.
