Bandhan-Konnagar NGO program benefitted 70,000 families: Ghosh

Bandhan-Konnagar, an NGO founded by Bank MD Chandra Ghosh, today said its Targetting the Hardcore Poor (THP) program has benefited nearly 70,000 families in several states.

"We have able to benefit around 70,000 families in states like West Bengal, and Jharkhand," Ghosh said on the occasion of Development Day.

Talks were on with other states like Odisha and as government support was needed, he said. "There is a need to scale up the project".
