Donald L. Richard

Donald L. Richard, passed away on April 11, 2018

Donald’s life began July 26, 1936 in Holton, Kan., the son of Ralph and Ruth ( Cordill) Richard.  Donald was united in marriage to Rosemarie Reed on Oct. 3, 1958 at the First Baptist Church in El Dorado.  
He was a transport driver for Skelly Oil, Getty Oil and Texaco in El Dorado and last drove for American Freightways.  Donald was a faithful member of the Temple Baptist Church.  He enjoyed his McDonald’s coffee group, gardening, hunting but most especially keeping up with the activities of his granddaughters.  
His loving family includes: his wife of 59 years Rosemarie of El Dorado; son, Dave (Denise) Richard of Omaha, Neb.; granddaughters, Deedra and Deanna Richard, both of Manhattan, Kan.; and his sister in law Beverly McCulloch of Towanda.  
Donald passed away on April 11, 2018 at his home.  
He was  preceded in death by his parents and sister Janice Webster.  
His family will gather with friends from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday at Temple Baptist Church, where his funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. led by Pastor Ron Jones.  Burial will be in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
