Sushil Kumar and Rahul Aware entered the finals of their respective weight categories to assure India of more medals.

Shuttlers too eye berths in the quarter-finals while India's women's hockey team look to maintain their dominant run and qualify for the final.

India's AV Rakesh Babu and Arpinder Singh qualify for Men's Triple Jump final. The final will take place on Saturday.
