A Madison County Sheriff's Office reserve deputy pointed a taser at someone and threatened to use it, according to the warrant for his arrest.
The criminal complaint against Steven Phillip Morgan, 50, states he threw a woman's phone in a fireplace and pointed a Taser at her, telling her he would use it on her if she didn't give him information. The woman is a relative, according to documents.
The alleged incident happened April 1. Morgan was arrested April 3.
Morgan was charged with third-degree domestic violence, which is a misdemeanor.
He is scheduled to appear in court April 26.
Morgan's on administrative leave from the Madison County Sheriff's Office and has turned in his badge and weapon, according to the sheriff's office.
