Rajkot: An imitation jewellery maker of Rajkot and his mother were allegedly beaten up by the former’s in-laws over a petty family dispute.
Jayesh Jayantibhai Ambasania and his wife Kanta were getting ready at their Pedak Road residence to attend a function while their child Dhruvil was crying. Jayesh asked his wife to take care of the child, which she did not like and complained to her mother over the phone.
Kanta’s mother Sharda Ratoja, her brother Ajay and his two friends reached Jayesh’s house and ransacked it. They damaged the vehicles parked outside the house and attacked Jayesh and his mother who suffered head injuries.
