Firestone police were led on a brief foot chase Wednesday morning that began at the Safeway supermarket on Colorado Boulevard and ended behind the Wah Wok Chinese restaurant, according to a Facebook post on the department's page.
The suspect in this case, however, was a duck that was trying to enter Safeway, prompting a call to police.
The duck wasn't injured and didn't put up a fight with the officers, according to the Facebook post, which ends by saying, "He is being held in an undisclosed location pending charges for quacking and entering."
