31-bank consortium gave the joint loan

A joint loan of ₹5,280 crore extended by a 31-bank consortium to companies associated with Mehul Choksi, between November 2010 and April 2014, has come under the CBI scanner. “The probe is meant to determine if there was any criminality involved in the process,” said an official.
