Encounter underway between terrorists, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam.

An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Khudwani area of south Kashmir's Kulgam in the wee hours of Wednesday. According to ANI report, at least 2-3 terrorists are still trapped in the region.

On Tuesday, two Army jawans were killed in heavy mortar shelling and firing by Pakistani troops along the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Rifleman Vinod Singh and Jaki Sharma were severely injured in the firing and later succumbed to their injuries.

“Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars from 1715 hours in Sunderbani sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on Monday night,” a defence spokesman was quoted as saying by PTI.
