Weapons, meth, MDMA: Drugs charges laid after north Perth traffic stop
A man is due to face court on Wednesday on a string of drugs and weapons charges after a traffic stop north of Perth.
Police were conducting patrols on Marmion Avenue on Tuesday morning when they stopped a Mitsubishi Lancer in Eglinton.
It will be alleged during a search of the car officers found approximately 18 grams of MDMA and six grams of methamphetamine.
A 27-year-old man from Yanchep is facing six charges including possess with intent to sell or supply a prohibited drug (MDMA), possess a controlled weapon and having ready access to weapons and drugs.
He is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court.
A 20-year-old woman from Butler has also been charged with possess with intent to sell or supply a prohibited drug.
She is due to appear in court later this month.
