According to recent leaks about how the iPhone X Plus may look like, the new smartphone from Apple Inc. could have a triple lens rear camera with an enhanced optical zoom.
The optical zoom could climb from the current models’ 2x to 5x, which is a huge leap. If the leak holds water, Apple could gain a competitive edge against its rivals since triple lens cameras can offer much better smartphone photos.
Huawei’s P20 Pro phone is the first smartphone for the masses that features a triple lens camera. The feature has made it extremely popular overnight. Triple cameras can take impressing snaps in low-light environments. The P20 Pro phone’s rear camera has an optical zoom of 3x.
Apple also plans to build the camera’s lens system from six pieces, in short 6P, which could make a huge difference in image quality when combined with the iPhone’s state-of-the-art image processing software.
Apple Luring In Photography Enthusiasts
Experts agree that Apple Inc will place a heavy bet on photography to sell the incoming iPhone model later this year. In recent years, Apple has lagged behind its rivals because of its devices’ unreasonable prices and overall lack of innovation.
The iPhone X Plus is expected to be a big hit since it is considerably larger than its predecessor, MacRumors found. Experts estimate that the new flagship phone from Apple will have a 6.5-inch screen, which is larger than any other handset on the market.
The company is reportedly doing trial production runs of the iPhone X Plus at an LG plant in Vietnam. MacRumors obtained exclusive photos of the incoming phone in mid-November. It wasn’t immediately clear when the new model is to be released.
