Longmont should see a very warm day with temperatures in the upper 70s today under mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.
Today's high should reach near 79, forecasters say, with winds from the west at 7 mph to 12 mph increasing to 16 mph to 21 mph in the afternoon, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
A red flag warning is in effect for Boulder County, signalling increased fire danger due to high temperatures and winds.
Tonight, the low should drop to around 42.
Thursday should see mostly sunny skies with a high near 75.
Friday's forecast calls for a high of 46 with a 30 percent chance of snow showers after noon.
On Saturday, temperatures should rise to about 54 under mostly sunny skies, then hit 67 on Sunday.
Early next week should see temperatures in the upper 50s and 60s.
