IPL 2018 RR vs DD: A rain-affected match in Jaipur saw Rajasthan Royals emerging victorious by 10 runs (D/L Method). RR who batted first had to end their innings at 153/5 in 17.5 overs because of rain. When the play resumed, Delhi Daredevils were handed a difficult task of chasing 71 runs in 6 overs and what added to their misery was the wicket of Colin Munro on the very first delivery after a mix-up in the middle with Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell on the other hand never looked comfortable and played a lot of dot balls that put DD on the backfoot. Delhi kept on losing wickets at regular intervals and fell short of 10 runs eventually.

Match Ended ( Day - Match 6 ) Rajasthan Royals beat Delhi Daredevils by 10 runs (D/L method)
That's all from our side for this match. Rajasthan Royals did play this one in a superb manner and applied themselves perfectly. They just need to continue this momentum while DD need to rejig their strategies and plans as they have two defeats in two matches now.

Ajinkya Rahane is delighted
"Good way to start at home. We were thinking that 71 will be little difficult in 6 overs. But we focussed on things we could control. But our bowlers did a fantastic job. When we were batting we thought 165-170 would have been a good score. First over from Gowtham was very crucial. T20 is all about starting from zero, whether we win or lose. We will enjoy this win and move forward," he said.
00:45 (IST)12 Apr 2018
Gautam Gambhir is disappointed
"We were very much in the game. It was a beautiful wicket to bat on, then 150 for 5 in 18 overs, we thought we could contain them to 170 and it was chaseable, especially with dew coming in later on. We were very much happy with the first innings. But then 6 overs, 72 was tough. We had to go from ball one. Obviously with these sort of games, things could go either way. Just 2 overs of Powerplay, it's very difficult. If it was a 20-over game, it would've been much easy to chase," he said during the post-match presentation.
00:33 (IST)12 Apr 2018

Rishabh Pant is gone back in the hut. He tried to repeat what he did a couple of deliveries back but didn't quite middle it and Gowtham takes a brilliant catch. Delhi are surely on backfoot now

Glenn Maxwell didn't really look comfortable at the crease. He did score boundaries on the last three deliveries that he faced before getting out but wasn't quite timing the ball properly. Ben Laughlin has his first wicket and Buttler completes a good catch behind the stumps
00:17 (IST)12 Apr 2018
