The 1807 Abolition of Slavery £2 coin is a rare design bearing a chain on the obverse side.
The seller, henrjame_60, has 100 per cent positive feedback, and the post currently has 37 watchers – suggesting the coin is very desirable.

The coin’s unique minting error, which is to do with upside down writing, is also described.
It reads: “Minting error £2 coin Letters around the edge are upside down, has been in circulation but in great condition.

The description reads: “Two commemorative £2 coins were issued by The Royal Mint in 2007, one celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Act of Union between Scotland and England, and the other commemorating the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade.
David Gentleman’s simple yet powerful design depicting a broken link in the 'chains of oppression', which doubles as the zero in the anniversary date, 1807, features on this 'abolition of the slave trade' £2 coin.
The broken chain link is surrounded by the inscription ‘An Act for the Abolition of the Slave Trade’ and the date ‘2007’.
It also reveals this particular £2 coin’s mintage, which is 8,445,000.

Yesterday, it was revealed a particularly rare 50p coin is listed on eBay for a whopping sum of £225.
The item is titled “Wounded Soldier 2006 50p Coin Hero Rare Fifty Pence Collectable Circulated“, while the description reads simply: “Rare circulated coin”.
The design features two men in army uniform, with one of the men carrying the other in his arms.
So why is this coin deemed rare? The Royal Mint website gives us a clue as to its valuable status.
The description of the coin explains it was created for the 150th anniversary of the institution of the Victoria Cross.
