Road closures and heavy police presence in northeast Calgary Monday night

Global News has confirmed a number of roads are shut down in Bridgeland and multiple police vehicles are on scene.

A picture from 6 Street and 1 Avenue N.E. just before midnight shows officers on scene and what appears to be a heavy police presence.

Police were not able to comment on the circumstances as of 11:50 p.m.

Global News is on scene and will continue to investigate.
