Illinois 4-H Club Packages 1M Meals In 5 Years

Since its beginnings in Clark County, Ohio in 1902, 4-H has taught youth from around the world the importance of giving back to the community.

In Illinois, those 4-Hers are learning those lessons by tackling food insecurity and hunger in the Land of Lincoln. In one hour, 4-H volunteers packaged 12,000 meals, totaling more than 1 million meals in five years.
